1. Scope

These terms apply to website use, inquiries, bookings, deposits, final payments, and communication with our team about tandem paragliding services and related coordination.

2. Our Role

Kazbegi Paragliding is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Serhii Mykhailiuta (Registration No. 329338355, Georgia) under the SkyAtlantida brand. We provide booking, organization, and coordination services for tandem paragliding. We connect clients with independent, licensed professional pilots and operators who carry out the actual flight activity.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, contacting our team, submitting a request, or making a payment, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted these terms together with the Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

4. Service Availability

Tandem paragliding depends on weather, wind direction, visibility, on-site safety decisions, road access, and partner availability. Listing on the website does not guarantee automatic confirmation of any specific date or time.

In winter we fly in Gudauri, not in Kazbegi — you need a transfer (not included in the price) or your own / rental car. We fly in Kazbegi in August and September when the weather allows: Mount Kazbek has its own microclimate and few flyable days. About 95 % of flyable days a year are in Gudauri, which is why our base is Café Bar PILOT in Gudauri. We confirm the flying location 24 hours before, based on the forecast.

5. Booking

A booking is considered confirmed only after the agreed deposit has been received and accepted via WhatsApp, Telegram, or one of the supported payment channels.

6. Payment Methods

Bank of Georgia transfer and Google Pay. By making a payment, you confirm that you are purchasing a booking and organization service.

7. Currency

Most prices are listed in GEL. If another currency is shown, actual processing happens in GEL based on the rate of your payment provider at transaction time.

8. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for the accuracy of information provided, including age, weight, health considerations, and experience level. You agree to provide accurate information, follow pilot instructions, and inform us of relevant medical conditions before the flight.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for inability to deliver service due to weather, official restrictions, road closures, natural risks, technical issues, or other external circumstances. In such cases, rescheduling or refund follow our Refund Policy.

10. Liability

Tandem paragliding involves inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge the nature of the activity and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the pilot. Pilots are licensed and follow professional safety standards. Insurance information is available on request.

11. Intellectual Property

Website texts, photos, videos, and brand materials are protected and may not be copied or reused without prior written permission.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. The version effective at the time of payment applies.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia.

14. Gift Certificates

A certificate is issued only upon full payment: the manager sends an invoice, and after payment the certificate is delivered by email. Paying for a gift certificate by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay adds 18% VAT; international bank transfer and Bank of Georgia transfer — no surcharge.

The certificate is valid for 1 year from the purchase date; the expiry date is printed on it. An expired certificate can be extended for 1 more year at 50% of its value.
The certificate is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.
The certificate is not tied to a city — only to the weather. We choose the flying location by the weather when you contact us to use the certificate; 24 hours before the flight it will be clear where it takes place. All you need is to be in Georgia.
The first booking with a certificate is free. Each subsequent rebooking — 150 GEL / €50.
The date is fixed at the moment of booking. Until the certificate is used, no date or time is attached to it — the certificate entitles you to an activity within its validity period, not to a particular day. From the moment a booking is confirmed against the certificate and the date is fixed, the ordinary booking rules apply: the slot is held for you and the certificate counts as used for that date. Any change after that follows the rebooking rules above.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your booked time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may cancel the confirmed slot — a paid rebooking will be required.
If the activity cannot happen due to unsafe weather (decision of the senior instructor) — rescheduling is free. If the reschedule does not suit either side, we refund the deposit less the bank transfer fee and any services already rendered; the refund is issued by the same method you used to pay and takes 5–10 business days.
Refunds for certificates are not provided, and a certificate cannot be exchanged for cash.
If the chosen activity costs more than the certificate value — the difference is paid at booking. If it costs less — the balance can be used for video, photos, transfers and other services; the balance is not paid out in cash.
